Saw Operator (First, Second, Third Shift)
Little Rock Arkansas
Boyd Metals of Little Rock is currently interviewing for a second shift Saw Operator. 8 Hour shift as scheduled.
The key responsibility areas for this position include:
- Identify paperwork / work order documents and make a mental map of how each order will fit on saw, prioritize according to supervisor’s input, 2nd runs, customer will calls or other requirements.
- Load material with crane or proper material handling equipment: Remove cut material, package, color code and tag material per customer specifications.
- Select proper blades for job depending on material to be cut.
- Program and cut with CNC computer per work order instructions while conducting periodic quality checks to ensure parts are produced within tolerance.
Associated Hazards/Physical Requirements
All saw operators are required to be albe to lift up to 50 lbs, be certified in crane operation and climb in and out of forklifts.
- Stepping in and around layouts, lifting some small material on to conveyor and stacking cut pieces (finished goods) onto skids.
- Changing fork lift propane tanks – as needed

Warehouse Position: SCO
Oklahoma City, Oklahoma
Entry-level warehouse position open for day or night shift.
- Day shift responsible for conducting day-to-day operations of warehouse including unloading trucks, stocking material, pulling customer orders, processing and loading customer will-calls, etc.
- Night shift position primarily responsible for finishing order pulls and for loading trucks for next day delivery.
- Applicants must possess a strong work ethic with a stable work history.
Available benefits include:
- Monthly warehouse incentive which can result in another $1.50-$2.00 hour pay
- $250 retention bonus paid at 60 days and 6 months of service
- $500 retention bonus paid upon one year of service
- $1000 retention annual retention bonus paid at the end of the month after completion of the second year of service and paid with completion of each service year thereafter

Machine Operator
Fort Smith, Arkansas
We are seeking Machine Operators to join our team.
Duties include:
- Properly setting up machinery
- Operating heavy machinery and equipment according to instructions
- Prioritizing assignments per supervisor’s input
- Troubleshooting issues
- Performing quality control and reporting errors to supervisor
- Other duties as assigned
To better qualify for this position it is good to have at least 1-2 years minimum related job experience. High school diploma or GED preferred. Pre-employment physical and drug screen required. Must be able to read measurements as you will be using a tape measure, calipers and micrometer. Good people skills needed as you will be working with customers as well as co-workers.
